Resignation of a Director

As detailed in the Annual Report and Accounts of Gartmore Distribution Trust
PLC, posted to shareholders on 17th July 2002, Mr Paul Myners retired by
rotation at the Annual General Meeting. Following his retirement as Chairman of
Gartmore and his resignation as a Director of all Gartmore Group companies on
30th November 2001 Mr Myners did not offer himself for re-election. He
therefore ceases to be a director of the following companies with immediate
effect:

Gartmore Distribution Trust PLC,

GDT Securities PLC,

GMIT Subsidiary Limited, and

GSET Dealing Limited
