Sale of Treasury Shares

EP Global Opportunities Trust plc (the 'Company')

The Company announces that on 17 June 2011 it sold from Treasury 100,000 of its
own Ordinary 1p shares at a price of £1.76 per share and 300,000 of its own
Ordinary 1p shares at a price of £1.765 per share.

Following these transactions, the Company has 4,872,700 Ordinary shares held in
Treasury and 59,636,942 Ordinary shares in circulation. The total number of
shares in issue remains as 64,509,642.
