EP GLOBAL OPPORTUNITIES TRUST PLC

Based on a bid price valuation, the unaudited net asset value per Ordinary
Share of the Company as at 27 January 2006 was 157.85 pence.

This is based on the issued capital of 33,569,010 Ordinary Shares.

The above net asset value includes the Directors' valuation, equivalent to
1.10p per Ordinary Share, of the option held by the Company over shares in
Edinburgh Partners Limited, the Company's Investment Manager (the 'EP Option').
In valuing the EP Option, the Directors have taken into account the recent
growth in the funds under the management of Edinburgh Partners, recent
valuations applied to other fund management businesses in the United Kingdom
and the time value of the EP Option.
