Director/PDMR Shareholding

EP GLOBAL OPPORTUNITIES TRUST Plc (the "Company")

The Company has been informed that on 30 May 2007, David Hough, a Director of
the Company, purchased 3,500 Ordinary shares of the Company for inclusion in a
PEP and 4,500 Ordinary shares of the Company for inclusion in an ISA, all at a
price of 166 pence per share.

Mr Hough now has an interest in 35,000 Ordinary shares of the Company,
representing 0.10% of the issued Ordinary shares.
