EP GLOBAL OPPORTUNITIES TRUST plc (the "Company")

The Company has been informed that on 14 April 2011 Mr David Hough, a Director
of the Company, purchased 7,500 Ordinary shares of the Company for inclusion in
an ISA, at a price of £1.77625 per share.

The Company has also been informed that on 14 April 2011, Miss Kenah Cryer, a
connected person of David Hough, a Director of the Company, purchased 6,000
Ordinary shares of the Company for inclusion in an ISA, at a price of £1.77625
pence per share.

Mr Hough now has an interest in 67,500 Ordinary shares of the Company,
representing 0.11% of the Ordinary shares in circulation.
