EP Global Opportunities Trust plc (the "Company")

As a result of the issue of new ordinary shares to shareholders in Anglo &
Overseas Plc in connection with the scheme of reconstruction and voluntary
winding up of Anglo & Overseas Plc, the Company has today been informed that Mr
Giles Weaver, a Director of the Company, has been issued with, and is now
interested in, 148,584 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 0.25% of
total voting rights. The shares were issued at a deemed issue price of 186.29p
per ordinary share.
