Director/PDMR Shareholding

EP GLOBAL OPPORTUNITIES TRUST Plc (the "Company")

The Company has been informed that on 9 April 2008, David Hough, a Director of
the Company, purchased 5,000 Ordinary shares of the Company for inclusion in an
ISA, all at a price of 141 pence per share.

Mr Hough now has an interest in 40,000 Ordinary shares of the Company,
representing 0.12% of the issued Ordinary shares. All Mr Hough's shares are now
held in an ISA.
