AGM Statement

30 April 2009 Talent Group plc ("Talent" or "the Company") AGM Statement At the Company's Annual General Meeting, to be held at 3 p.m. this afternoon, after welcoming shareholders, George Kynoch, vice-chairman, will say: "Whilst our Chairman Terry Bate is present by telephone and will participate fully in the meeting, he has asked me as vice chairman to chair the meeting on his behalf as I am here in person. The meeting was originally scheduled for next Tuesday, when Terry would have been present in person, but the recent new Companies Act obliges us to hold the meeting before the end of April, which is why Terry is only present by telephone. Before we move to the formal proceedings of the meeting, for those of you who might not have seen it, I would like to draw your attention to the announcement which was made earlier today about our new commission to produce a new programme featuring Jim Davidson, copies of which are available here. Market conditions remain difficult and unpredictable and this has forced almost all of the major UK broadcasters into restructuring their businesses, which has caused delays to their decision making on new projects. During this time we have concentrated on building a strong and vibrant development slate and remain optimistic both that the market is beginning to ease and that this new programme with Jim Davidson will be the first of a number of new commissions for your company."
