Purchase of own shares

The Company announces that today, 20th August 2007, it purchased for holding in
Treasury 18,000 "A" Ordinary shares of 40p each, at a price of £6.40 per share.

The issued share capital now stands at 33,323,110 shares, which includes
1,144,625 treasury shares.

For reporting purposes under section 198 of the Companies Act 1985 the market
should exclude any shares held in treasury, giving an issued share capital of
32,178,485 shares.
