Correction : Listing Application

Further to an announcement made on 25 July 2011 regarding a listing application
by the Company, the Company confirms that shares pursaunt to this application
have been issued to satisfy demand that could not be met in the secondary
market subsequent to the Company's previous block listing authority
having been exhausted.

Listing application- Correction

Finsbury Growth & Income Trust PLC (the "Company") announces that an
application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for 1,630,000 ordinary
shares of 25p each to be admitted to the Official List and to the London Stock
Exchange for the shares to be admitted to trading on its main market. Shares
pursuant to this application have already been issued by the Company to satisfy
demand that could not be met in the secondary market subsequent to the
Company's previous block listing authority having been exhausted.

The Company has 56,177,423 ordinary shares in issue.
