The Board of Fidelity Special Values PLC is pleased to confirm that Andy Irvine has been appointed as Chairman of the Board with effect from 5 July 2016, following Lynn Ruddick retiring as Chairman on 5 July 2016.

The Board is also pleased to confirm that Sharon Brown has been appointed as Senior Independent Director with effect 5 July 2016, a role formerly undertaken by Mr Irvine.
