Correction - Additional Listing

                  FIDELITY SPECIAL VALUES PLC ('the Company')

You are advised that the following replaces the Additional Listing announcement
released on 29 October 2003 at 09.00 under RNS number PRNUK-2810031414-2E2D.
The number of shares reserved under a block listing should have read 649,350
shares and not 653,500 as previously announced. This divides into 324,675
shares per scheme. All other details remain unchanged. The full amended text
appears below.

Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the London
Stock Exchange Plc for 649,350 Ordinary shares of 25p each ('shares') to be
admitted to the Official List.

It is expected that admission will be granted on 31 October 2003 and trading
will commence on 3 November 2003.

These shares are being reserved under a block listing and will be issued
pursuant to the following scheme:
