TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

The Board of Fidelity Japanese Values Plc ("the Company") announces that on 22 March 2016 the Company bought 40,000 of its own shares for cancellation at a price of 85.0967 pence per share. 

The Company's issued ordinary share capital is 113,798,356. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is now 113,798,356.

The above figure (113,798,356) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FCA’s Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
