Fidelity Japanese Values PLC

Voting Rights and Capital as at 31 March 2012.

This announcement is made in accordance with DTR5.6.

During the month of March 2012 Fidelity Japanese Values PLC did not repurchase
any of its own shares. 2,237 ordinary shares were issued following the exercise
of conversion rights attaching to subscription shares.

As at 31 March 2012 Fidelity Japanese Values PLC's issued share capital
consists of 97,452,163 ordinary shares with voting rights and 17,240,671
subscription shares without voting rights. Fidelity Japanese Values PLC holds
no shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Fidelity Japanese Values PLC is
97,452,163.

The above figure (97,452,163) may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to
notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Fidelity Japanese
Values PLC under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
