Total Voting Rights CORRECTION

Fidelity Japanese Values PLC

The issuer advises that the following replaces the Total Voting Rights
announcement released on 2 January 2013 at 16:47 under Release Reference number
PRNUK-0201131648-46A8. The ordinary shares issued should have read 2,409
ordinary 25p shares and not 1,000 ordinary shares as previously announced. The
total issued share capital is 96,822,685 ordinary shares and not 96,821,276
ordinary shares with voting rights. The number of subscription shares without
voting rights is 17,232,149 and not 17,233,558 as previously announced. The
full amended text appears below.

Voting Rights and Capital as at 31 December 2012.

This announcement is made in accordance with DTR5.6.

During the month of December 2012 Fidelity Japanese Values PLC did not
repurchase any of its own shares. 2,409 ordinary shares were issued following
the exercise of conversion rights attaching to subscription shares.

As at 31 December 2012 Fidelity Japanese Values PLC's issued share capital
consists of 96,822,685 ordinary shares with voting rights and 17,232,149
subscription shares without voting rights. Fidelity Japanese Values PLC holds
no shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Fidelity Japanese Values PLC is
96,822,685.

The above figure (96,822,685) may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to
notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Fidelity Japanese
Values PLC under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
