Investment Policy

Further to the recent changes in the Listing Rules, the Board of Fidelity
Japanese Values PLC ('the Company') hereby announces it is the Company's policy
not to invest more than 15% of its gross assets in other investment companies
(including investment trusts) admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing
Authority.
