Transaction in Own Shares - Correction

The issuer advises that the following replaces the transaction in own shares
announcement released on 8 August at 16:52 under Release Reference number
PRNUK-0808131651-0E40. The total number of shares in issue should have read
614,689,480 and not 609,289,480 as previously announced. All other details
remain unchanged. The full amended text appears below.

Fidelity China Special Situations PLC announces that the Company on 08 August
2013 repurchased for cancellation 600,000 of its own shares at a price of 93.25
pence per share. The total number of shares now in issue is 614,289,480.
