Change of Auditor

Fidelity China Special Situations PLC (‘the Company’) announces that following a formal tender process, Ernst & Young LLP ("EY") will be appointed as the Company’s independent auditor for the year ending 31 March 2016, replacing Grant Thornton UK LLP ("Grant Thornton"). The appointment of Ernst & Young LLP will be recommended to the Company’s shareholders for approval at the Annual General Meeting in 2016.

Grant Thornton has been the Company’s independent auditor since the Company launched in April 2010. In line with best practice, the Company conducted a formal tender process, which concluded with the recommendation to Shareholders that EY be appointed as the Company’s independent auditor.

The Board wishes to thank Grant Thornton for its years of service to the Company.
