Directorate Change

The Board of Fidelity Asian Values PLC is pleased to confirm that following the
retirement of Sir Victor Garland at today's Board meeting, Mr Hugh Bolland has
been appointed as Chairman of the Board with immediate effect. Mrs Kate
Bolsover has, in turn, been appointed Chairman of the Audit Committee and Mr
William Knight has been appointed Senior Independent Director, both roles
having previously been held by Mr Bolland. Sir Victor Garland said that he had
every confidence in the new Chairman and wished the Board all the best in the
continued pursuance of the Company's objectives.
