Planning Permission Granted for East Midlands well

The Directors of Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) plc are pleased to announce that
planning permission has been granted for the drilling of the West Firsby-9 well
by Lincolnshire County Council.

West Firsby-9, which will be a sidetrack of West Firsby-8, is anticipated to be
drilled as soon as practicable in the core producing part of the field. This
forms a part of the ongoing programme of work to increase production levels in
the West Firsby and Crosby Warren Fields.

us to press ahead with the planning of this key development well. Continued
strong oil prices underline the importance of Europa's ongoing oil production
enhancement programme.'
