                              Holding In Company                               

The Board of Lawrence was informed on 22 August 2003 in accordance with
sections 198 to 202 of the Companies Act 1985 (as amended), that Artemis
Special Situations managed by Artemis Investment Management Limited, as a
result of certain sales, now has a holding of 1,500,000 ordinary shares
representing approximately 5.7. per cent. of the Company's issued voting share
capital.
