Lawrence plc ('Lawrence' or the 'Company')

                            Disclosure of Interest                             

The Board of Lawrence was informed yesterday in accordance with sections 198 to
202 of the Companies Act 1985 (as amended), that Fidelity International Limited
(FIL), on behalf of certain of its direct and indirect subsidiaries,
collectively and non-beneficially now has a holding of 1,685,870 ordinary
shares representing approximately 6.49 per cent. of the Company's issued voting
share capital.
