The Board has been notified today that an employee has acquired 60,000 ordinary
shares of 5p each as a result of the exercise of an option over 60,000 shares
at a price of 97 pence per share in the Company.

Accordingly, application has been made for 60,000 new ordinary shares to be
admitted to trading on the Alternative Investment Market on 31st January 2003.

Following this transaction the number of shares in issue will be 25,823,952.
