The Board has been notified today that employees have acquired 150,000 ordinary
shares of 5p each in the Company as a result of the exercise of options over
the following:

45,000 ordinary shares at a price of 60 pence per share granted on 16th October
1995

84,000 ordinary shares at a price of 130 pence per share granted on 27th August
1997

12,000 ordinary shares at a price of 125 pence per share granted on 16th
October 1998 and

9,000 ordinary shares at a price of 132 pence per share granted on 11th October
1999.

Accordingly, application has been made for 150,000 new ordinary shares to be
admitted to trading on the Alternative Investment Market on Friday 11th April
2003.

Following the exercise of these options the number of shares in issue will be
26,189,952.
