THE DIVERSE INCOME TRUST PLC (the "Company")

The Company has been notified that Henderson Global Investors Limited, of whom
Paul Craig, a Director of the Company, is an employee, has an interest in
10,000,000 Ordinary 0.1p Shares of the Company.

As a result, Mr Craig is interested in a total of 10,030,000 Ordinary 0.1p
Shares (representing 10.03% of the issued Ordinary Shares).
