Director/PDMR Shareholding

THE DIVERSE INCOME TRUST PLC

The Company has been notified that Paul Craig, a Director of the Company,
subscribed for 30,000 Ordinary 0.1p shares at the price of 50 pence per share
under the Offer for Subscription dated 7 April 2011.

Henderson Global Investors Limited, of whom Mr Craig is an employee, also
subscribed for 5,000,000 Ordinary 0.1 shares at the price of 50 pence per share
under the Offer for Subscription dated 7 April 2011.

As a result of these transactions, Mr Craig is interested in a total of
5,030,000 Ordinary 0.1p Shares (representing 5.03% of the issued Ordinary
Shares).
