C Share Conversion

The Board of The Diverse Income Trust plc announces that the Manager has now
substantially invested the proceeds of the recent C Share issue in accordance
with its investment policy and consequently the conversion of the C Shares will
take place in accordance with the provisions of the Articles, as summarised in
the C Share prospectus dated 27 June 2012.

It is expected that conversion will occur in accordance with the following
timetable:

NAV calculation date                      28 September 2012

Announcement of conversion ratio          1 October 2012

Dealings in new shares commences and C shares cancellation from trading on the
London Stock Exchange 8.00 am on 2 October 2012.
