Concurrent Technologies Plc Product Launch for High Speed Networking Concurrent Technologies Plc (AIM: CNC), a leading manufacturer of high-end embedded computer products for critical applications in the defence, transportation, communications and industrial markets, announces the launch of its latest product, CL PMC/GB3, to augment the effectiveness of existing single board computer products operating within a network. The CL PMC/GB3 is a PMC (PCI Mezzanine Card) networking adaptor designed by Concurrent to operate at faster speeds. Indeed, the product has an extremely high speed data capability supporting transfer rates of up to 1,000 megabits per second and is targeted at applications requiring high data throughput and low latency. The CL PMC/GB3 is a two channel Gigabit Ethernet controller with multi-rate capability and based on a long life-cycle Intel® networking component. It has the advantage of connecting to existing Ethernet networks via industry standard connectors which can accommodate low-cost cabling.
