Immediate Release: Thursday 30 June 05 Concurrent Technologies Plc Product Launch Enhanced Dual Display Graphics Concurrent Technologies Plc (AIM: CNC), a leading manufacturer of high-end embedded computer products for critical applications in the defence, transportation, communications and industrial markets, announces the launch of its latest product, the IO PMC/DG1. This is a graphical display adaptor which plugs into Concurrent Technologies' single board computers, as well as other supplier's products, to further enhance functionality and help maintain a competitive advantage for the Company in its main markets. The IO PMC/DG1 will provide enhanced display resolutions while offering low power consumption. Target applications in defence and industrial markets include hi-resolution colour graphics for tracking displays, computer aided engineering, design and manufacturing, image processing, mapping systems and video walls. The engines feed three display connections, one analog and two digital, of which two can simultaneously display different signals, each with differing resolutions and refresh rates. Additionally the adaptor supports a wide range of screen sizes and resolutions, with up to 32 bits per pixel colour depth, and works with many of today's leading operating systems.
