Product Launch

Concurrent Technologies Plc Product Launch Dual Display PMC Graphics Adaptor for commercial and rugged markets Concurrent Technologies Plc (the "Company") a world leading specialist in the design and manufacture of high-end embedded computer products, announces the launch of a new product aimed at a wide range of applications within the defence, industrial control and transportation markets. The product is a PMC (PCI Mezzanine Card) adaptor - the IO PMC/722, a dual display video/graphics PMC board. The principle feature of this PMC board is the ability to provide high quality video graphics with low power consumption (less than 2 Watts) and will provide a solution to customers where power, space and cost are key concerns. The IO PMC/722 can be used to add additional graphics capability to the Company's current range of processor boards or can be used on any of the Company's PMC carrier boards; alternatively it can be sold separately to be used on third party products. Initially the board is to be released as a commercial product, but it is planned to have the rugged version of the board released in the near future. This will extend the board's market appeal still further into applications operating within much harsher environments. Glen Fawcett, Managing Director, commented: "Our product led marketing strategy continues to open new business opportunities as we build our presence in the marketplace. As with all our new products, today's launch is in direct response to the needs of current customers and should prove beneficial in our push to increase our revenues within both existing and new markets and projects." 6 September 2007 Contacts: Concurrent Technologies Plc 01206 752 626 Glen Fawcett, Managing Director Nexus Financial Ltd 020 7451 7050 Nicholas Nelson/Kathy Boate Nominated Adviser Brewin Dolphin Investment Banking Alan Stewart 0845 213 1120 All trademarks, registered trademarks and trade names used in this announcement are the property of their respective owners. Using the latest Intel® Core™ dual core processors, the single board computers support high performance applications, some being capable of operating in temperatures from -40ºC to +85 ºC for applications within harsher environments. Concurrent Technologies produces a wide range of boards designed according to industry standard specifications including CompactPCI®, VME boards, AdvancedMC™, PCI Mezzanine Cards and Multibus II. The IO PMC/722 supports a variety of Digital Flat Panel (DFP) or analog CRT devices in single or dual display configurations, where the DFP and CRT can be driven simultaneously with the same image or different image sources. The feature set includes a complete 3D rendering suite, hardware support for MPEG/ DVD playback, a 2D drawing engine that supports bit block transfers, colour expansion and line draw. The IO PMC/722 adaptor's PCI interface requires a 32-bit 33MHz bus on the host board's PMC site and is 3.3V and 5V tolerant.
