  Next Generation Technology to Strengthen Concurrent's Competitive Position   

 

Concurrent Technologies Plc ("Concurrent"), a world leading specialist in the
design and manufacture of high-end embedded computer products, announces the
launch of a new product in its range of XMC (Switched Mezzanine Card) modules,
the XM 403/x33.

The XM 403/x33 is a high-resolution, high performance, XMC graphics adaptor
supporting a variety of Digital and Analogue displays in single or dual screen
configurations. Commercial and extended temperature versions are available now
and versions for the harsh environments often found in airborne, maritime and
mobile ground-based applications will be available shortly.

XMC is an evolutionary step from the PMC architecture which is still in use by
many of Concurrent's customers. New customers and applications, principally in
the Defence, Telecommunications and Industrial Control markets, should be
attracted by the additional functionality, performance, flexibility and low
power consumption of Concurrent's new product.
