At today's Annual General Meeting of Concurrent Technologies Plc (the
"Company"), which manufactures high end embedded computer products for critical
applications in the defence, aerospace, transportation, telecommunications,
scientific and industrial markets, Michael Collins, Chairman, made the
following statement:

"We are pleased to report that, following on from our strong 2008 full year
results, this financial year has seen continued demand with sales remaining
buoyant and our cash position remaining very healthy.

While not immune to the global economic downturn, we feel the Company is well
placed to see continued progress due to our innovative products and the
resilience of certain market sectors. Our latest product, a quad-core Xeon®
based CompactPCI® board, has been our most sophisticated to date, and it is
this type of industry-leading embedded board that will help drive our growth
and attract new sales leads. Our new engineering design centre in Bangalore,
India, has been instrumental in developing some of our other new products.

With the defence sector being relatively healthy, particularly in the US, we
are focusing on further developing our family of high performance boards which
are attractive for the specific applications within this area, and we continue
to implement the latest long life-cycle processor technology from Intel®."
