Transaction in Own Shares

CLS Holdings plc (the `Company')                        

                           Acquisition of own shares                           

The Company announces that, pursuant to its general authority by shareholders
of the Company on 23 May 2006 to make market purchases of its own shares, the
Company has acquired today 251,976 Ordinary shares at an average price of
535.03 pence per Ordinary share. The purchased shares will be held as treasury
shares.

Following the above purchase the Company now holds 5,749,212 Ordinary shares as
treasury shares and the total number of Ordinary shares in issue excluding
shares held as treasury shares is 79,777,965.
