Dividend Declaration

SMALL COMPANIES DIVIDEND TRUST PLC

The Company has today declared a third interim dividend in respect of the year
1 May 2013 to 30 April 2014.

A third interim dividend of 1.475p per Ordinary share will be paid on 
4 April 2014 to the holders of Ordinary shares on the register at 21 March 2014, 
with an ex-dividend date of 19 March 2014.
