Correction : Dividend Declaration

The previously announced record date and ex-dividend date in the dividend
declaration made on 7 December 2010 were incorrectly stated. The correct dates
are: record date 17 December and; ex-dividend date 15 December. Amended
annoucement is now below.



SMALL COMPANIES DIVIDEND TRUST PLC

The Company has today declared a second interim dividend in respect of the year
1 May 2010 to 30 April 2011.

A second interim dividend of 1.30p per Ordinary share will be paid on 7 January
2011 to the holders of Ordinary shares on the register at 17 December 2010,
with an ex-dividend date of 15 December 2010.
