Transaction in Own Shares

Chelverton Growth Trust PLC

The Company announces that on 27 October 2006 it purchased 150,000 Ordinary 1p
shares for treasury at a price of 31p per share, pursuant to the authority
granted at its Annual General Meeting held on 13 December 2005.

Following this transaction the number of shares in issue remains 18,141,939, of
which 150,000 are now held in treasury.
