The Company announces that on 8 January 2007 it purchased 136,167 Ordinary 1p
shares for treasury at a price of 31p per share, pursuant to the authority
granted at its Annual General Meeting held on 20 December 2006.
Following this transaction the number of shares in issue remains 18,141,939, of
which 507,770 are now held in treasury.
