CHELVERTON GROWTH TRUST PLC

The Company announces that following the recent tender offer Mr GE Stevens,
Chairman of the Company, was interested in 969,694 Ordinary Shares
(representing 7.27% of the total number of shares in circulation).

The Company has today been informed that Mr GE Stevens sold 300,000 Ordinary
shares at a price of 21.5p per share on 14 April 2011.

Following this transaction, Mr Stevens is interested in a total of 669,694
Ordinary shares (representing 5.06% of the total number of shares in
circulation).
