CHELVERTON GROWTH TRUST PLC

The Company announces that Colinette Holdings Limited, a company wholly owned
by Chelverton Asset Management Limited, disposed of 215,000 Ordinary shares of
Chelverton Growth Trust PLC on 25 January 2007.

Following this transaction, Mr David Horner, the Managing Director of
Chelverton Asset Management Limited (the investment managers of Chelverton
Growth Trust PLC) is deemed to be interested in a total of 1,115,000 Ordinary
shares (representing 6.15% of the issued Ordinary shares).
