Transaction in Own Shares

The Capita Group Plc ("the Company")

SHARE REPURCHASE

The Capita Group Plc announces that it purchased 1,435,944 ordinary shares in
the Company on 30th June 2010 at a price of 741.31p per share.

The purchased shares will be held as Treasury shares.

Following the above purchase the Company holds 11,628,906 shares in Treasury
and has 615,848,789 shares in issue (excluding Treasury shares).
