Transaction in Own Shares

The Capita Group Plc ("the Company")

SHARE REPURCHASE

The Capita Group Plc announces that it purchased 84,227 ordinary shares in the
Company on 25th June 2010 at a price of 768.43p per share.

The purchased shares will be held as Treasury shares.

Following the above purchase the Company holds 9,178,925 shares in Treasury and
has 618,298,770 shares in issue (excluding Treasury shares).
