Standard Life Voting Rights Total 8.03%

Standard Life Investments Limited notified the Company on 10 February 2010 that
as at 9 February 2010 it held voting rights in respect of 15,115,981 shares of
Bodycote plc representing 8.03% of the voting rights in Bodycote's issued share
capital (previously 7.02% on 6 January 2010).
