Standard Life voting rights now 12.23%

Standard Life Investments Limited notified the Company on 5 November 2010 that
as at 4 November 2010 it held voting rights in respect of 23,218,477 shares of
Bodycote plc representing 12.23% of the voting rights in Bodycote's issued
share capital (previously 11.01% on 29 October 2010).
