PDMR Share option exercise and sale

PDMR Share Interest                              

Bodycote announces that Mr Jan Elwart (PDMR in respect of Central Europe)
exercised 4,278 share options at 231.42p, 10,695 share options at 203.37p and
6,500 share options at 125.76p today and sold 14,973 shares at 294.75p on the
same day.

Following the sale Mr Elwart's share interests comprise 6,500 shares registered
in his own name.

In addition Mr Elwart has 43,165 options over ordinary shares exercisable
between 16 September 2005 and 15 September 2013 at prices between 126p and
148p, and 56,261 ordinary shares held pursuant to the rules of the Deferred
Share Bonus and Short Term Stock Bonus Plans.
