L&G voting rights now 3.96%

Legal & General Group plc notified the Company after close of business on 23
January 2009 that as at 22 January 2009 it held 7,426,737 shares of Bodycote
plc representing 3.96% of Bodycote's issued share capital (previously 4.01% on
17 October 2007).
