HSBC Holdings Plc notified the company on 3 December 2008 that as of 2 December
2008 it held voting rights in respect of 18,810,187 shares in the capital of
the company which represents 5.84% of the total voting rights in Bodycote plc
as at that date (6% on 16 October 2008).
