Bodycote plc announces that, further to the announcement of the appointment of
Mr Stephen Harris as a Director on 7 October 2008, he has confirmed that he has
no additional information to disclose in respect of Listing Rule 9.6.13R (1)
to (6) beyond that provided on 7 October 2008
