Analysts' and investors' site visit

                                  SITE VISIT                                   

Bodycote International plc, the specialist metallurgical and testing services
company, will be hosting a site visit for analysts and investors to several UK
Testing and Thermal Processing facilities in the Midlands starting this
evening.

During the trip, senior management will provide a range of presentations
setting out Bodycote's strategy to continue to increase the size and scale of
its Testing division, while also growing its Thermal Processing business,
particularly by expanding its presence in emerging economics, in Eastern Europe
and Asia.

The next update on current trading will be provided at the Annual General
Meeting on 23 May.
