Result of General Meeting and Merger Completion

This announcement is made by Blue Planet Financials Growth & Income Investment
Trusts Nos (1 - 10) plc (each a "G&I Trust" and together "G&I") in connection
with the proposed merger of G&I with Blue Planet International Financials
Investment Trust plc ("International") and Blue Planet Worldwide Financials
Investment Trust plc ("Worldwide") to be completed pursuant to schemes of
reconstruction under Section 110 of the Insolvency Act 1986 ("Schemes") whereby
G&I and Worldwide will be placed in members' voluntary liquidations and will
transfer all of their assets and liabilities to International, details of which
were contained in the G&I circular to shareholders ("the Circular") dated 26
March 2012.

The board is pleased to announce that at the general meetings of each G&I Trust
held on 18 May 2012, the resolutions to approve each G&I Trust being placed in
liquidation, appoint the liquidators and cancel the listing of each G&I Trust's
shares, as set out in the Circular, was duly passed on a show of hands and, in
aggregate, with approximately 6,638,415 (99.8%) of proxy votes received being
in favour (or at the chairman's discretion).

A copy of the resolutions passed at the above meetings will shortly be
available for inspection at the National Storage Mechanism (www.hemscott.com/
nsm.do) and a copy of this announcement will also be uploaded on to G&I's
website (www.blueplanet.eu).

As the G&I Board advised shareholders on 11 May 2012, the merger is subject to
the passing of a resolution by International shareholders at a general meeting
which is expected to be convened on or around 13 June 2012. This resolution
will approve the restructuring of International's share capital and split each
of its 50p ordinary shares into a 1p ordinary share and a 49p deferred share.
In the interim, therefore, G&I's liquidators have appointed Blue Planet
Investment Management Ltd to continue to manage G&I's assets.

As part of the Schemes, the suspension of the listing of each G&I Trust's
shares took place at 7.30am on 27 April 2012 and the cancellation of the
listing of each G&I Trust's shares is expected to take place from the
commencement of trading on 20 June 2012.
