RESPONSIBILITY AND CONNECTED PERSONS

The Throgmorton Trust PLC (the "Company") announces Mr Eric Stobart, a non
executive director of the Company, has transferred his savings plan holding of
2,413 ordinary shares of the Company to Mrs Virginia Stobart (a connected
person to Eric Stobart). Mrs Virginia Stobart will participate in the BlackRock
Investment Trust Savings Plan (the "Savings Plan") and in accordance with the
terms of the Savings Plan, will purchase shares in the Company on a monthly
basis.
